John Van Nest

John Van Nestは，LAのIMAGE RECORDING Inc.を中心に活動したエンジニア。本国では，Rahsaan Patterson，Ray J，Changing Faces、Jonathan Pierceなどの作品を手がけている。小室作品では，H.A.N.D.やTRFのゴージャスなサウンドから，木根尚登・トーコのようなアコースティックな作品まで幅広く担当した。「Moonlight Shadow」，「REMEMbER ME?」などのリミックス作品に独特の味がある。他に日本では，ヒップホップ・アーティスト「SELFISH」が「SELFISH RE-MIX BY JOHN VAN NEST」というアルバムを1995年に発表している。
